GMAX Kit:
- C-1- Custom stepped apply plate, (8) GPZ C1 external clutches, (8) GPZ internal splines clutches with a custom C1 top plate.
- C-2- Custom stepped apply plate with (7) C-2 GPZ frictions and (7) steels.
- C-3- includes our (6) SCZ double sided frictions with no center slots and a pattern in the material to help retain oil to cool clutch when it’s not applied. (5) Custom steels with no center slots. This design works great in your daily driver, towing and even your extreme race conditions. SunCoast has also redesigned the apply piston with improved rubber compounds that are proven to hold more heat if the circumstances arise. The custom piston allows us to use our thicker spring apply plate that replaces the thin OEM one deflects from the spring pressure and causes a uneven surface for apply. This plate also redirects the oil to better lube plates from the inside out which lubes the entire friction rather than OEM style that lubes from the center out leaving the inter half of the clutch burnt. Top apply plate is also machined and included with kit.

- *C5 clutches are NOT included do to the fact they are normally good to re-use unless the unit has been contaminated by water or other foreign elements. C5 clutches are optional and can be added to our kit upon request.
- Other parts included in kit are P-1 shim, lockup boost valve, a shim to shim pressure regulator spring and a tool to make it easy to install. TransGo shift kit are also included. This kit includes smart clutch control valves for increased durability and Short-Crisp-Smooth-up shifts/ kick downs.
- Suncoast Allison paper and rubber kit includes all seals, gaskets and o-rings required to overhaul the Allison 1000. We work directly with the manufacture of our seal kits, so any improvements/revisions are passed on to manufacture and our kits are upgraded to pass the quality on to our customers. We include a new spin on filter and new sump filter along with our billet filter loc to prevent filter from working lose and dropping out of the pump
Billet Flex Plate:
This replaces the factory flywheel/flex plate with a improved billet one piece design, eliminates the heavy cast iron and the weak stamped steel flex plate. This is a must with the high torque in conjunction with a better designed torque converter that can transfer the torque with no slip. The flex plate is bolted to the crank shaft, then the converter is bolted to flex plate. The torque from your is transfered to the flex plate, from the flex plate to the torque converter then to your input shaft in the trans. With increased torque from the engine and no slip out of the converter it can crack and/or rip the center out of a stock flex plate.
*NOTE: A SFI certified flywheel flex plate is required on drag racing vehicles running 11.99 and quicker in the 1/4 mile and 7.49 and quicker in the 1/8 mile, or any vehicle exceeding 135 mph. It was changed in 2008 from the 29.1 SFI specification to the SFI specification 29.3 for automatic transmission flex plates for diesel applications. The new rules for the flex plate requires that the material can not be a stamped metal as many OEM and after market flex plates are. To maintain the SFI specification 29.3 requirements, the flex plate must be replaced every three years.

PPE Deep Pan:
Simply stated, more is always better when it comes to transmission fluid. The extra fluid takes longer to heat up allowing for more stable transmission temperatures, helping to extend transmission life. PPE’s Heavy Duty DEEP Aluminum Transmission Pan is cast from high quality aluminum for optimal heat dissipation and holds an extra 4 quarts of fluid. Large 3/4 inch cooling fins outside and heat sink fins inside reduce operating temperatures up to 40 degrees. The PPE Heavy Duty DEEP Aluminum Transmission Pan also features a high powered Neodymium magnet-equipped drain plug to keep any metal contaminants out of the transmission internals. Stainless steel Allen head mounting bolts and a new gasket come with this kit.

WARRANTY:
We back the transmission for 3 years, 36,000 miles from the time of shipment. For competition vehicles, the warranty is 12 months. We do recommend that you send your transmission back to us during your off season each year for a check-up. Liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at its option, subject to the provisions set forth herein, of any parts which upon examination by Longhorn Fab Shop are found to be defective. Longhorn Fab Shop reserves the right to determine the course of action in regard to repair and/or replacement of any and all warrantable products and/or services. Any part submitted for warranty consideration must be returned to Longhorn Fab Shop, pre-paid shipping, accompanied with a copy of proof of purchase (invoice), a description of the concern, and service history. Repaired or replaced products will be returned to the customer freight collect. All warranted parts that have been replaced become sole property of Longhorn Fab Shop. Third party electrical components are covered for 90 days.
This warranty shall not apply to any product that has been tampered with, improperly installed, damaged as the result of accident or neglect, improperly repaired or altered by the owner or his agent/tech, or abused resulting in broken, fractured, or sheered shafts and/or gears. This warranty shall not apply to any products damaged due to low fluid conditions. Any labor cost incurred, including shipping charges, will be the responsibility of the customer. Longhorn Fab Shop will not pay for fluid and/ or filters. If a billet shaft breaks, Longhorn Fab Shop will not warranty the parts damaged by the shaft and will not warranty the billet shaft. SCCI will not be liable for towing charges, rental car, travel/lodging expense or any other claims, including claims for special, indirect, or consequential damages that may arise under the provisions of this warranty.
