Longhorn Fab Shop 2" Duramax Traction Bars (2" Diameter 2001-2010) (Pair)
Nearly every Duramax has a wheel hop issue right off of the factory floor. Even under stock power levels this wheel hopping can cause extremely costly repairs, including broken driveshafts, broken axle pinion yokes, premature u-joint failure and wearing of suspension components. On top of these issues anytime the wheel hops, it is not touching the pavement. If it is not touching the pavement, you’re not getting traction!

2001 yukon xl 2500
Firstly i modified these to work on my 2001 yukon xl 2500, Installation was of the simplistic even for a vehicle they weren't designed for... I placed the order on a Friday afternoon and had them by Thursday. I couldn't have been more satisfied with choosing Longhorn Fab Shop. Will definitely be recommending these to anyone.

Traction Bars on 08 Chevy 3500HD Dually
This installation was by far one of the easiest accomplished thus-far. Drilling the 6 holes is the hardest part, that speaks volumes for how well designed these traction bars are. I am a professional technical author for an aircraft manufacture and the instructions provided for the traction bar installation were excellent and on par with what we publish for commercial aviation technicians. My truck has been suffering from acceleration shudder when towing the 5th wheel or when my right foot gets heavy. After connecting my action camera and doing a test drive, I saw the dreaded axle wrap. In a way I was pleased because the fix was as easy as bolting on traction bars. I did two days research and contacted a couple different companies. Ended up going direct to Lonhorn Fab Shop and 100% pleased with the decision. The price point was slightly higher than elsewhere but.. the money goes direct to Longhorn Fab Shop and not to a 3rd party vendor. My initial inquiry was if the item was in stock and would I be able to get it before our next trip on June 9th. The answer was yes. I placed the order Thursday afternoon April 29th and Monday morning May 3rd the delivery truck pulled into the driveway with the package. I could not have been any more satisfied with the choice to choose Longhorn Fab Shop. ~EW

I was searching for traction bars for my cclb duramax with an 8" fabtech lift and longhorn recommended the 86" bars. I ordered them with the upgraded brackets and joints. First impression, they are massive. Great quality parts and nice welds on everything. I had major wheel hop problems before these and I replaced 3 u joints within 3 months. These bars eliminated all of that. I've read that some brands tend to make quite some noise on a daily driver but these are quiet. Highly recommend these.

great product and value for the cost
I enstslled them on my 2003 durmax in the afternoon I received them. I use my truck as a daily driver and truck pull some. I went to my first truck pull tonight . I got second place in work stock class . I jumpedbup to the 2.5 class and got a second place also beating trucks with weight bars and that were trailed in . I took out my bed blocks and drove home . I feel the traction bars helped . Easy to install and they look great on my truck.
