Longhorn Fab Shop 2" Duramax Traction Bars (2" Diameter 2001-2010) (Pair)
Nearly every Duramax has a wheel hop issue right off of the factory floor. Even under stock power levels this wheel hopping can cause extremely costly repairs, including broken driveshafts, broken axle pinion yokes, premature u-joint failure and wearing of suspension components. On top of these issues anytime the wheel hops, it is not touching the pavement. If it is not touching the pavement, you’re not getting traction!

Duramax Traction Bars
GREAT product! Longhorn was easy to work with, make a quality product, and the install wasn't half bad. I had a BAD wheel hop issue with my 2009 Duramax that I use to plow my driveway and a couple of relatives in the winter. 8" of snow would make the rear end hop like crazy and my truck is in great shape. Longhorns traction bars CURED that issue. The only PITA I can find about the bars is that if the vehicle goes up on a conventional hoist you have to remove them. Easy enough. Anti-sieze the bolts, remove the 4 bolts, and they are off, piece of cake. Did I mention they look really cool too?????
